This updated version of Brutherford's Pumpkin Spice Scream Man Represents 2 years of experimentation and learning and the manufacturing process of this iteration includes both traditional and cutting edge process.
 
The Character started as a sketch that was then digitally sculpted and refined in engineering software. The CAD file for the pumpkin portion is then 3d printed in batches. After printing the bases are silkscreened to ad branding and manufacturing location before going through a chemical process that creates an incredibly durable and high gloss surface finish. The cones also went through a digital design process but  are produced in a more traditional hands on molding process. The face is added and the cone and base are married together when the base part is still flexible, locking the base and cone together without any glue.
 
Although there are robots involved in this process each piece still requires extensive hands on work all performed by Brutherford with the  hope that none of these manufacturing details are obvious or distracting so all that you see is a fun, whimsical character.
